I used to be exactly where you are.

Overwhelmed by the idea of working with newborns and feeling stuck while trying to build a successful newborn photography business.

I spent years - and a lot of time and money - doing all the things. Photographing friends’ babies for free. Taking swaddling courses. Trying to follow every rule I thought a “real” newborn photographer had to follow.

Then I realized something important: not all parents want traditional newborn photos with their baby tightly swaddled and placed in a basket.

My turning point came when a client asked if I could simply photograph them holding their baby in their arms, surrounded by their family. No elaborate setup. No complicated posing.

I remember thinking, “And I don’t have to swaddle? Perfect.”

Then another family asked for the same thing. And then another. And another.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve refined a calm, natural approach to lifestyle newborn photography - and I’ve poured everything I’ve learned into the Lifestyle Newborn Photography Mastery Course.
